Nick has been handling real estate closings in North Carolina for more than 44 years. His passion for helping buyers and sellers is what brought him out of retirement to join Jackson Law and continue serving clients across the Triangle.
A North Carolina native, Nick, practiced in Vance County for 22 years before moving to the Triangle, where he worked as a title insurance attorney for more than two decades. Throughout his career, he has remained deeply involved in the legal community, serving as Chair of the Real Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and receiving the NCBA Citizen Lawyer Award in 2018. Nick also served as an officer of the North Carolina Land Title Association and continues to be active in several professional organizations across North Carolina.
Nick attended UNC-Chapel Hill for both undergrad and law school. As a Morehead Scholar, he earned a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science before continuing to the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Outside of the office, Nick spends much of his time volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America. An Eagle Scout himself and the father of two Eagle Scouts, he has also received Vigil Honor and Silver Beaver awards.
With four children and five grandchildren all living in the Triangle, Nick enjoys spending weekends hiking, following local sports teams, and playing “Grandad”.
